Faith is an international yoga teacher and founder of Embrace Yoga DC, a yoga studio located in Washington DC. A presenter at the MYC in 2015, Faith returns in 2017 to bring her wisdom, energy and spiritually fly self.

Rolf is a celebrated Yoga Instructor and author whos acclaimed book on yogic philosophy Meditations from the Mat: Daily Reflections on the Path of Yoga has made him one of the leading voices of modern yoga today. A former social worker and US Airborne Ranger who has practiced meditation for the last twenty years, Rolf brings his eclectic background to his practice and his teachings. Born in Manhattan, Rolf Gates grew up in the Boston area as an avid marathon runner, long distance cyclist and champion wrestler. As the s descendant of six generations of ministers, he gained an understanding of service and dedication at a very early age.
Rolf is the co-founder of the Yoga + Recovery Conference, Esalen Institute, Big Sur CA and brought Yoga and Functional Stretching to the US Department of Defenses' Tri- County Summit on Sustainability. He is pleased to be working with the US Military on sustainable care for the troops and their families. Rolf also works weekly one on one with clients in his Yoga Life Coaching program.

Indu Arora will be presenting at the 2017 Minneapolis Yoga Conference with a particular focus on Yoga Therapy. She'll be teaching an all day intensive on Friday March 3, along with three workshops over the weekend.
In addition, Indu Arora and Molly McManus will be collaborating with each other and are being mindful of each other's workshops. At the MYC we'll be lining up the schedule so that students who want to experience a "Yoga Therapy Tract" will have the option of doing so. David is an international yoga instructor and was recently named one of the 100 most influential yoga instructors by Sonima. David originally built his reputation in New York City with choreographed Vinyasa classes set to live music. He also created the "Multi-Intenso" class, a class that garnered him with a cult following - a technique based, athletic and dynamic style of yoga centered around handstands.
As his practice grew David started to focus on the transformative powers that a yoga practice can give, eventually leading him to a more comprehensive approach to how physical form relates to psychological and emotional states. Inclined towards the mystical and timeless, greatly influenced by intensive study with Nevine Michaan, David's practice and teaching evolved to a refined adaptation of how an asana (postural) practice can instigate profound and often therapeutic change.

Simon is an international yoga teacher and founder of Liquid Flow Yoga. Simon joins the MYC for the first time in 2017 and will be teaching an intensive and four weekend workshops. His aim is to help students develop a more integrated understanding of anatomy in a yogic context to support you in deepening your personal practice and teaching skills. His immersion will be focused on balancing the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of the practice and creating a healing and evolving practice for yourself and others.
Kristi Taylor is an International Presenter, Co-Founder & Co-Owner Global Body Health, Thai Massage Therapist, Speaker, Certified AcroYoga and 500 Hour Certified Baptiste Power Yoga Instructor and YACEP. 3 Aerial Yoga Workshops
My passion for yoga stems from my desire to bring wellness and therapeutic tools to people of all ability levels. While I have practiced Pilates and Yoga for over 15 years, my desire to become a teacher began after my mother was diagnosed with a rare and debilitating illness. While seeking ways to help her I discovered a deep desire to help people be well and active. This sparked my passion for the healing arts and holistic medicine. .
In 2013 I fell in love with Unnata® Aerial Yoga for it's playfulness and accessibility and was certified the same year. Unnata® is a blend of all of the things I strive for in my practice and in life: fun, dynamic, mindful, and inspiring. I fell in love with all things aerial and in 2014 became certified in Aerial Play & Fitness as well. Aerial Play & Fitness is a blend of aerial skills from many disciplines and is both challenging and fun.

Natalie is a 500hr RYT, Certified Trauma Informed Yoga Instructor with professional training in Clinical Massage Therapy through the Soma Institute of Chicago. Natalie will be leading an intensive on Friday all about the Art of the Private yoga lesson. With a full schedule of group classes, private classes and private company clients Natalie has built her career from the ground up and will be teaching instructors how to do the same.
Natalie believes taking ownership of our bodies to support healing, manage physical pain, and to cultivate relaxation are real gifts, and she loves sharing these gifts with people. Natalie believes that self care and relaxation are vital to being the best version of ourselves, and will be teaching two workshops over the weekend focused on relaxation and self care. Dr. Tiffany Denny
Two weekend workshops
Dr. Tiffany Denny has a passion for anatomy and sequencing. Tiffany is a licensed physical therapist and board certified orthopedic specialist, and her teaching style is uniquely informed by a strong understanding of anatomy and movement science. She believes that building awareness of these concepts through asana provides great insight into personal practice and growth, and can help those who teach yoga serve their students well.
Tiffany loves to integrate the technical aspects of her physical therapy training with the wisdom of yoga in classes that empower people to accept and celebrate not only their bodies, but the full scope of that which they presently and potentially offer in this life.
2 weekend workshops
Molly McManus will be leading two weekend workshops at the 2017 MYC, both focused on Yoga Therapy and in collaboration with Indu Arora. Molly is the Co-Owner of Yoga North International Soma Yoga Institute, one of only 23 schools in the world that certifies yoga therapists.
She engages in continuous training in anatomy, therapeutic yoga, adaptive yoga, and neuromuscular re-education techniques, as well as any great yogic philosophy courses she can find. The diversity in her interests, background, education and experience help her to create a relaxed, inviting and fun atmosphere to teach the wildly beneficial life skills of yoga. Leo Rising is a 250hr Accredited Yoga Teacher based in Manhattan. As a yoga teacher, Leo found that the physically rehabilitating practices of asana (yoga poses) and pranyama (breath work) open aspects of existence that are connected, grounded, stable and promote clarity upon every action, and the space to exist fully present, while still.

Tori Reynolds & Ben Rivet
Tori Reynolds is co-creator of Go w/ the Flow with Ben Rivet, and owner of Speakeasy Yoga Studio in Dayton, OH. Go w/ the flow is a collision of movement and music designed to "get you out of your head and into your breath".
Together Tori and Ben have logged hundreds of performances around the country and through their GO W/ THE FLOW classes, Ben and Tori hope to awaken the breath of the beginner and revitalize that of the advanced practitioner, uniting through a commonality all yogis can thrive from: breath.
Tori and Ben will be leading a celebratory opening Vinyasa for all attendees on Friday March 3, 2017 at 6:30pm.
Two weekend workshops
Marni is a celebrated yoga instructor who teaches at retreats, festivals and in private sesstions. Marni describes her teaching as a heart-centered, alignment based practice that honors the body's natural and sacred wisdom.
She shares stories that awaken the powers of remembrance and healing, attuning the heart, mind and spirit. Marni is deeply influenced by the ancient earth-wisdom traditions that acknowledge each one of us as sacred caretakers of our planet.

One Friday Intensive
Arundhati came to yoga after six years of teaching Bollywood dance in India. She took to yoga instantly and began to pursue a long and rewarding journey. Before moving to the Seattle area in October 2012, she grew up and lived in South India. Her thirst for the knowledge and authenticity of yoga led her to some of the best schools and yoga masters in India. With her 10+ years of teaching experience, Arundhati’s growing success is attributed to her unique background of training, and her ability to bring classical yoga into the modern world effortlessly. Helping teachers and students alike not only benefit from the eternal wisdom of yoga, but also ensuring that it becomes an integral part of their being; thereby, living out her dharma – to pass yoga on properly for the generations to come.
Believing deeply that the practice of yoga is accessible to all. Having taught yoga in India for several years, she now runs and teaches at Aham Yoga, in Redmond, WA. It is through this creation that she reaches out to the local community and shares her knowledge and experience of yoga.
Two weekend workshops
Nathan has practiced yoga for 15 years, and taught for the last 10 years. He has background in Chinese Medicine, bodywork and myofacial therapy. Nathan has a dedicated Tai Chi, Yoga and meditation practice. His classes are influenced by the overlap in universal principles present in Chinese esoteric and medical theory, Yoga and Ayurveda, while balanced with expert, functional knowledge of western anatomy and physiology.
Nathan uses yoga as a method to improve the relationship with body awareness and intelligence; specifically, developing a stronger relationship to the intention of mind generating movement internally, while simultaneously listening to and refining the bodies response to the initial impulse. He works to wake up deep body sensing, and to strengthen will for meditation.
One Aqua Yoga Workshop (at the Hotel Pool)
Elizabeth is honored to be of service to others and create a place of
healing through the ancient traditions and sciences of Yoga, Ayurveda and Reiki. Practicing for over 17 years and teaching for ten, Elizabeth has a passion for self-discovery and healing through breath, movement and meditation. She is a Yoga Alliance 500-hour registered yoga teacher, an Ayurvedic Yoga Therapist from the California College of Ayurveda and an AYS from the Himalayan Institute. She teaches and practices Yoga Nidra, Aqua Yoga and is a Reiki practitioner. She holds a Master’s of Science in Organizational Management and recently left the corporate world after 20 years and began Prajna Yogi, LLC.
She’s an international explorer and has lived and worked England, Japan and France. As a USMS Master Swimmer, she believes the integration of Yoga and the water provides easier access to muscles and joints and allows for a deeper sense of the mind/body connection – especially for those who are challenged by a land class.
Master of Ceremonies, Saturday evening Yin
Julia is the co-founder of Body & Soul Wellness Center and Spa in Dubuque, IA and is the producer of the Dubuque Yoga Festival. With more than three decades of experience in the healing arts and twelve years of teaching yoga, her passion is to help others be more fully themselves and to live from a place of freedom in mind-body-spirit.

Gracia Gimse McKinley
One Weekend Workshop
With over 20 years’ experience of teaching yoga and meditation, Gracia empowers students to attune to their own inner wisdom in order to live authentic, happy and meaningful lives. Her teacher trainings support yoga and meditation teachers to grow into confident mentors capable of inspiring and facilitating awakening in their students.
At the 2017 MYC Gracia will be teaching a workshop that extends beyond the physical body and explores the spiritual side of yoga. Her workshop, Look In / Act Out: Namaste as a Spiritual Practice will explore awakening consciousness, personal growth and the sacred interconnection of all humanity.
Gracia is also an ordained swami and initiates seekers into the Kriya Yoga Lineage. She and her husband, T McKinley, are the co-founders of My Spirit Community in Northfield, Minnesota.
One weekend workshop
Lara is the founder and owner of Karmady Yoga and Fitness in Aikin, MN and holds a degree in Exercise Science from the University of Illinois.
Lara discovered yoga about 10 years ago while working as an Athletic Trainer for Brainerd High School. She began to dive into her own personal practice, amazed at how yoga can provide a physical workout without beating up her body. She enjoyed learning about the different styles and how yoga can positively help athletes both rehabilitate and prevent injuries.
Lara will be coordinating her workshop at the 2017 MYC with Dr. Tiffany Denny for those interested in creating their own mini-tract that focuses on anatomy and and the science behind asana.
One Friday Intensive
Kathy Flaminio is the founder of 1000 Petals, LLC. and the National Director of Training Development for Yoga Calm®. Kathy has trained over 8,000 individuals on how to integrate yoga-based movement, breathing techniques, and social/emotional skills into classroom and therapeutic settings. She holds a master’s degree in social work with more than twenty years of experience in regular and special education settings. Kathy is adjunct faculty for St. Mary’s University and is ACE (American Council on Exercise), Yoga Alliance (E-RYT 200), and Yoga Calm® certified.
Kathy will be teaching an all day intensive on Friday titled Moving and Learning: Helping educators create safe classrooms with Heart, Mind, and Body.

Jes Rosenberg will be teaching an intensive and 2 workshops, all designed to give the professional yoga instructor more tools to spread and teach yoga in an accessible way. Jes has been teaching yoga for over 16 years and is a 500 E-RYT 200/500 RYS certified instructor in a multitude of disciplines.
A leader in the wellness community, Jes is committed to helping students live an inspired life. She makes it her mission to ‘Breathe, Stretch, Play. When she’s not teaching or spending time with friends and family you can usually find her coordinating fun out-of- the-box community fundraising events, stretching her soul in a yoga class, meditating with awareness under the moonlight or designing Super Stretch - a Kid’s Yoga top 100 health and wellness kid’s yoga app.

Live Music on Opening Night
Mary Bue is an indie musician, yoga instructor and yoga studio owner based in Minneapolis. A prolific songwriter with 7 albums under her belt, Mary's music touches upon archetypal themes of the human condition: love, loss, triumph, dreams, and the natural world. A longtime student of yoga and psychology since her early teens, Mary weaves sacred subject matter into her songs with inquiries into the spirit, the seeking of deeper levels of consciousness, and deep concern for the environment all mixed into her sometimes crass, real-world hue. Mary recently opened Imbue Yoga in South Minneapolis - an intimate, beginner friendly studio featuring many lineages of yoga.
